Scenic Ariège in the Spring

The Ariège is a paradise for climbers and has become home to many noted names of the climbing world including Stevie Haston and more recently, Jim Perrin.
The house is in the hamlet of La Coupière, about 5 minutes drive from the historic town of Foix. It is about an hour's drive from airports in Carcasonne and Toulouse. Foix is a busy market town full of restaurants and bars. There are several supermarkets, a Decathlon sports supermarket and a swimming pool in the town.
